Applications

Applications

Applications
Non toxic, non irritating , partial fatty acid ester of sorbitan. Non
ionic in nature. The main function is to reduce the antagonistic forces
which exist between and oil for waxy substances so that such
incompatible materials may be readily mixed into the stable ointments
and lotions. Also used in the manufacture of suppositrories and scalp
lotions, soluble vitamins etc as an emulsifier.
